“Innovation is something that has to come from the top. Those active in the upper echelons of politics, business, and the sciences are being called upon to champion innovation with all their might so that good ideas from Germany can once again become the wonderful products “Made in Germany” with ever increasing frequency.

The Endowment Association has been sending out this appeal for quite some time, which is why our support for the Deutsche Zukunftspreis is self-evident for the 3000 large and small companies, private entities and donors who have joined the Endowment Association to lobby for an efficient and highly innovative scientific system.

Then what could personify the idea of innovation from the top better than a prize for innovation presented by the head of state.
